Let’s Talk About Confidence

‘I’m just not confident enough to do this yet.’ You know, I hear this A LOT. And girlfriend, I GET IT! BUT… confidence isn’t going to just show up all of a sudden one day. You’re not going to wake up one morning and all of a sudden have this sudden burst of confidence to take on the world. But you know what, you can start TODAY toward that goal.

Confidence is literally a skill that you have to work on. I like to think of it this way… You want to learn to play piano. Okay, so you’ve made the goal that you’re going to learn to play that piano. So, what now? Well, you need to buy a piano or keyboard! Step one accomplished. You’re now a little more confident that you can achieve that goal because you’ve taken an active step toward achieving it. Now, to learn to play your new piano. So you start taking lessons and studying online. Step 2 accomplished. You’ve taken ANOTHER active step toward accomplishing your goal.

Now think of it this way… at this point, are you CONFIDENT in your piano playing abilities? Of course not. You haven’t practiced enough yet. But you KNOW, that if you continue practicing, every day, that you will soon be able to play that piano!

Confidence works the exact same way. You have to take that first step toward becoming that confident bombshell you want to be. Maybe step one for you will be just being able to look in the mirror. GREAT! Do that then. And do it every day! Then, add in a positive affirmation to that beautiful woman in the mirror.

A boudoir session is a wonderful step in this process. Wherever you may decide you want to fit that in. Will it make you forever confident afterwards? That depends on you! I want to teach you how to step into your power, own your own femininity, and immortalize that feeling, but it is up to you to take those newfound skills and remember to practice them every day. Then use that beautiful new album, and wall art to remember what you’ve learned, and that you ARE a badass and that you totally got this!
