Donna’s Boudoir Experience
I asked Donna to talk a little about her experience with working with me. Her words have literally brought me to tears and remind me why I do this!
I had posted for a model call in my Facebook VIP group (click here to join yourself) and asked that any applicants email me telling me why they wanted to chance to be chosen for a photo shoot. Among the applicants was Donna. Even before meeting her, I felt an instant connection with her. With her permission, I am sharing her application below:
‘So I have recently lost approximately 125lbs. I’ve lived the majority of my 55 years of life extremely obese. I was always told that if I would lose some weight i would be pretty! Of course those words left lasting damage to my heart and mind. I lost weight once and didn’t keep it off and I probably did it for the wrong reasons. Over the last two years i decided that it didn’t matter what everyone else thought and I tried again and did it for me! Because of the many years of NOT treating my body very nicely I have battle wounds. IE. Lots of stretch marks, flabby skin and surgery scars. Some from medical issues, but also some from plastic surgery to help improve some of the damage my stretched out skin left me. The only thing I have not done just yet are my legs. The thighs are very flabby, with a lot of loose wrinkly skin.
I would LOVE to find out your fees. I promised myself that once of got to this point I was gonna show off my new body to some extent! I would a TOTALLY be ok with you using my pics at any extent that you would like! I have more confidence than I have had, ever in my whole life!

Let me just tell you…
When Donna walked into my studio in June of 2024, we built an immediate friendship, (as I do with most of my clients). We started looking through her wardrobe and I had to praise her because she had followed all of my preparation guides to a tee! We selected the pieces that would be ideal for her shoot, then moved on to hair and makeup. I really go to know her and what a huge heart she has during this portion. Being an oncology nurse, PLUS going to school to complete her NP license, hadn’t left a whole lot of time for HER!
As we moved to the photoshoot portion, just like ANYONE, there were still some residual nerves as we started shooting. However, once I started showing her the images on the back of the camera, I watched her inner Bombshell emerge! I couldn’t believe this beautiful woman had never done a shoot before! She performing like a professional model!
We smiled, we laughed, and maybe even shed a few tears. I am so proud to call this woman my client, and now friend.
